The materials used for making baskets are essentially derived from natural fibres (palm leaves, raffia, rush and corn leaves) and are widely produced in their country of origin (Madagascar, Morocco, Burkina Faso and Asia). They come in various colours, sizes, shapes and styles e.g. rectangular or “Moses”.
